Bookplate to John Douglas Rosdew Davies who attended the college and served as a Sub-Lieut in the Royal Navy during the Great War. c.180pp., portrait photographs of all the fallen with biographical and Regimental details, including date of death. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. No dust jacket. Hardcover. Former owner's name is penned on front endpaper. Upper and lower edges of front board have some relatively minor, mottled staining possibly suggestive of water damage. Spine has one or two grubby marks and moderate wear to ends. Leading corners are rather worn and bent. Noticeable age-spotting to pastedowns, endpapers and first and last two or three pages. Binding is sound; pages are tight; text and illustrations are clear.
