Good (Books - restoration work - the books were bought in by us with the mull and glue to back strips failing. The spines to the book blocks have been cleaned, re- glued with p.v.a , new mull and spine liners applied and re- cased in the original cloth boards with new plain end papers. Shelf wear to cloth at extremities - but not considered sufficient as to call for re-backing when above restoration carried out. No significant soiling. Previous owner names in ink to half titles, foxing to tissue guards with some mirroring to frontis and titles. liquid tide mark to gutter of frontis vol I not affecting portrait.
