8 volumes bound in 6. 4to. Half leather over marbled boards with gilt title to spine. Gilt-lined raised bands. Some rubbing to leather and minor scuffing to boards. Wear to corners. Marbled endpapers. Three-inch closed tear to outer edge on page 39 in Vol.I. A detailed study of ancient and modern art with articles by many authors and "art experts." Profusely illustrated with b/w photographs and drawings, duo-tone and color plates, heliogravures as well as original lithographs, woodcuts and etchings by artists such as Belleroche, A. Lepere, Daniel Vierge, A. Rodin, M. Ernest Laurent, F. Watts, Le Nain, P.E. Vibert and J. Beltrand. Rodin etching "La Ronde" in Vol. I missing. Most original plates are protected by tissue guards. International First Class typically starts at $20. International Priority is typically $35 or less if under four pounds weight, and starts at $40 if over four pounds. International Express is a faster and more expensive option.
