669 pages, frontis, illustrations, maps, jacket has very shallow edge wear, small scuff on jacket spine. Very rare in dust jacket. Ive searched many years for a copy with a jacket. Ive only seen one other jacket with the first edition and one jacket with the second printing. Graff 3630, Howes S1, Rader 2867, Rittenhouse 501 Sabins biography of Carson, which remains the pioneer scholarly work upon which all later works have been based. Seller Inventory # 021677
