This stated fifth printing Fine quality World Landmark book was published by Random House in 1953. The book is square, extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings. The head of the spine is very lightly bumped with no fabric damage whereas the heel is pristine; the bottom edges and lower corners have virtually no wear; the hinges are strong and tight. The book has no fading. The exterior looks brand new. And the interior is not much different. Except for a date and a number neatly inked on the title page, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. The very colorful NF jacket has no fading, a 1/2" tear at the top of the rear panel, only the tiniest of chips at the front corners and at the head of the spine; it is also price-clipped.
