About this Item
21.5 x 14.5 cm. 315 pp. Unclipped jacket has some edge wear and toning to rear panel. Blue cloth with gilt titles and dec to spine: clean with no discernible edge wear; some whitening to front panel. Frontis portrait of Marx. Clean throughout and square and entirely well bound. Carr's controversial study of Marx which, as the title suggests, is less than generous. As Carr moved closer to sympathy with the philsophy and Russian revolutionary history, he consequently refused to republish the book which he viewed with embarrassment. Rare in any condition, this second printing may actually be rarer than the first!. Seller Inventory # 1204
