Undated, but presumed 1st, 1st printing.Jolly verses in text by Richard Waylett with lovely Aldin coloured pictures. Green cloth back strip frayed and splitting. Picture boards are rubbed, with worn and chipped edges and tear to back. The text block of this edition was originally bound using staples, which have long ago rusted away and been neatly replaced at some time with linen thread to hold the doubled-up pages of the text block together (works very well.) There is a a tiny amount of very faint foxing to edge of frontispiece and title page. A short crease to second page. Colour plates are bright and text clean with no scribbling, colouring- in or inscriptions. Seller Inventory # 005155
