About this Item
An incomplete selection of volumes from the series Japanese Lacquer Designs, edited by Tsuda Yusaka and published in 1976. Each volume is contained in a brown cloth box and consists of a selection of loose prints, both black-and-white and color. Multiple prints in each box are folded full-page spreads. Each volume focuses on a different decorative motif (e.g. birds, flowers, etc.). Text in Japanese. -- Very good. The protective cases show some bumping, rubbing, and light marking, along with very occasional small tears to the cloth covering the cases. The prints themselves are in very good to fine condition. The prints of Volume 1 have light creasing to some corners of some prints, but this does not impact the images. [Oversized listing. Additional postage necessary for expedited/international orders.
