Hardcover in blue faux-leather with gilt titles in Japanese to front and spine (series title in English above lower edge), in gold glossy jacket with color photo of mountain to front, in slipcase matching jacket, 10" x 7 1/2". Includes in brown card envelope 12 b/w photos of mountain details with trails. 2 color Japanese topograhic sheets (possibly not original with item) laid in at rear. Text in Japanese. 355pp. NF. Jacket has 1/4" long x 1/4" deep chip at upper end of front hinge with associated 1/16" nick to book beneath. Otherwise book and jacket are fine: bright, tight, and unmarked. Enclosed photos and maps are also fine, though light edgewear and rubbing around smooth card photo envelope. Slipcase is VG- to VG only, with some detachment to flap over and below closed spine end and occasional stress creases. Holding fine with colors and figures bright and sharp.
