This VG- quality book was published in 1907 by the A. L. Burt Company; it was published earlier that year by L. C.Page & Company. It is 7-1/2" tall and has 300 numbered pages followed by 8 unnumbered pages of ads. It is square, reasonably clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with slight fabric damage at each end; bottom edges have a modest amount of wear and some fabric deterioration; the top edges also have some fabric deterioration. The front panel is undamaged with no signs of wear. Except for an inked 1916 inscription on the FFEP (see photo), the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and undamaged. The only illustration is the frontis. The paper has aged quite well and has only very mild toning and is still very flexible. The jacket is in VG- condition. It has a fairly heavy amount of soiling, no tears, with the only significant damage being the chips at the head and heel of the spine--no lettering is taken out by these chips. Also, the lettering on the spine seems to me to be just a tad bit faded. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-5-28-2
