Early reprint. Blue cloth covers with gilt lettering on spine. No date, but gift inscription from 1936. Twelve colour plates and numerous black-and-white line drawings. Spotting to first few pages, but not beyond. Dust jacket with tipped-in illustration is in fair condition with some loss, chips and small tears to head and heel of spine and at corners with a 4cm tear from lower front corner. The front endpapers are missing with a hairline gap exposing the hinge along the gutter. The binding is also exposed at page 152, but not split. Beyond the gift inscription, there are no marks to inside pages. Seller Inventory # EDB06435
