The boards are orange with a pretty turquoise and black image on the front boardof Peter Pan and Wendy sitting on a toadstool, with Peter Pan playing the pan pipes. The boards are in good condition being complete but with dust soiling, knocks to the spine, minute tears to some of the pages, especially the first blank page which is torn but complete. The book has been well read to children. There are 320 numbered pages containing 17 chapters of Peter Pan and Wendy, 12 Mable Lucie Attwell tipped-in colour plates telling the story of Peter Pan and Wendy, and 19 Mabel Lucie Attwell black and white illustrations in the text. Additionally, there are double page illustrated front endpapers and rear endpapers featuring line drawings of Peter Pan by Mabel Lucie Attwell. This is a rare book that will appeal to J.M.
