Hardcover in original green cloth covered boards with beveled edges, blind embossed floral pattern on front board, gilt titles and pattern to spine, top edge gilt, spine and hinge area of boards have some fading as well as some shelfwear to head and foot of spine, small bump on top edge of front board, some light edgewear to boards, endpapers browned and foxed, rough cut pages with slightly browned edges otherwise very bright and unmarked internally, overall in Very Good condition. 1898 Illustrated edition, unpaginated but pp 55, manuscript style decorative pages, 8 full page engravings by W.B.
