About the Author: Jeremy Poolman was born and educated in England, but spends much of his time in the United States. He is the author of the novels Audacity's Song and My Kind of America. Bloomsbury will publish his new novel Skin in October 2001 and his biography of Elizabeth Bacon Custer, Libbie Custer, in 2002.
