Dark blue-green buckram, with gilt lettering and decoration to front and spine. 158 x 228 x 52mm. 780pp. Top edges gilt; numerous monochrome illustrations throughout, both within text and full-page; with index. Cover shows very light wear at spine-ends and corners, but is otherwise exceptionally clean; some foxing to fore-edges, but internal contents very largely clean, crisp and bright.
