Many elegant, classic ads of the period, plus illustrated features. Excellent vintage color ad for London Life Cigarettes on the back cover (see photo). From a time that House & Garden catered to the wealthy American homeowner. This copy in Good or better condition: overall a good copy (see both photos) but with cover wear including rubbing, creasing, small tears, and chipping, the front cover faded, the back cover with a better aspect but with a few 1/2" tears at the top edge, a splatter of tiny dark dots on the left side, and a small edge chip on the lower left side; otherwise good, internally very good with just minor imperfections past the first page (which is creased at the leading edge and somewhat soiled; no writing or marks.
