Original issues bound in. 27,5 x 19 cm. Unspectacular private half cloth and cloth binding. Prague 1924-1928. The central review of the Czech avantgarde literary group. Included is poetry by Kalista, Biebl, J.Landa, Arnost, Raz, Josef Chalmyska. This magazine, designed for the modern intellectual, contains the best work of the period from Czechoslovakia, Russia, and Germany. Illustrated with reproductions of art work by artists such as Malevich, Gropius, and others. " This is a sample description for volume V. " Published by Ustrední legionakladatelství, Praha. These volumes are from 1924 to 1928. Three volumes of this publication that have been bound. Volume IV is bound in full library buckram with silver titles and in almost fine condition. With 312 pages of tight clean text and illustrations, though the covers are not bound in. Volume V is quarter bound in cloth over decorated boards. There is some wear to the cloth seems at the spine head, otherwise this is a nice copy with clean bright contents. The covers are also very nice and bound in with the 316 pages of text. Volumes VII is quarter bound in cloth over boards. The binding is shaken at the front hinge, though still tightly attached, With 316 pages of generally very good text.
