Handsomely bound in full leather with 'Eclectic Library, Saint John, N. B.' stamped on the front with gold gilding, and accompanied by a small plate on the front pastedown that reads: 'Eclectic Library No. 34'. Some general shelf wear and cracking to the spine and it's edges. The boards remain firmly attached. A minor annotation on the top corner of the title page. A few light signs of age and handling to the textblock but it remains in stellar condition overall, with clean and bright and tightly bound pages. The edges are decoratively marbled.
