Limited Edition Exhibition Catalogue 'Six From Holland', Feb 28 - March 21, 1986. Pictorial blue card wrappers 11.5" x 8". Nine loose sheets including a short biographical note of each artist, a description of their work and an understanding of their inspiration. Each artist supplies a representative example of their work. LOUIS DAMEN contributes an original watercolour consisting of orange and blue intersecting lines with the hand written ink inscription 'the orange bled the blue', signed and dated by the artist. JAN HAAS contributes a photocopy of a drawing of a feather with text, signed in full and dated by the artist in pencil. JAN STOKMAN'S contribution is a sheet of paper with a printed horizontal line, below which is typed 'MAXIMAL SQUARE OUT OF FORMAT A4'. It is signed and numbered 69/100, the paper above the line, being the square, has been deliberately wrinkled and smoothed by the artist, the paper below the line remaining untouched. COCK STRUIJK supplies a photocopied mixed media stencil, with hand colouring in blue and yellow, and bears the inscriptions 'this is not a photograph' and 'imagine a yellow sky with blue clouds', it is signed and dated in pencil by the artist. ALBERT VERKADE'S contribution is a photocopy of a blank sheet with the words 'I'm busy, all I can do is paint, Albert'. PIM PIET contributes a print on light blue card comprising the letters 'H.T.T.', made from a collage of small typeface, which is signed and dated in the print. A list of one man and group exhibitions is listed, together with institutions holding work by these artists in 1986. A price list of the work included in the exhibition is also present.
