About this Item
NF/1st ed. (stated). This copy is a library discard---there's one red stamp on the front free endpaper---and no other signs of this book have been in a library. In other words; no pocket, no accession number, no writing or stamping at all in the text of the book. No dust jacket (I don't know if there ever was one--), clean red cloth over boards with black lettering to spine and front cover. Sharp corners and a tight binding. Clean unmarked pages that are lightly tanned. A really excellent copy of a rare town history. It's amazing that a book listed in so many bibliographies should be so hard to find. 222 pp., general history about the creation of the county, some Civil War information. Well known citizens are mentioned such as Thomas Spalding and Doc Holiday. Quimby Melton Jr., the author was the editior of the Griffin Daily News which published this book. The book comes to you in an archival document bag, for storage. Mailed boxed, and I can have this in the mail to you tomorrow. Seller Inventory # 0022829
