1822. New Edition. 479 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Grey paper covered boards with brown cloth to spine. Presumed rebound ex-library copy with new boards. Unpaginated table to rear. Title page and pages V-VI are almost detached. Front board coming away from text block, joined only yo top. Pages throughout remain firmly attached. Noticeable creasing and small tearing edges of pages. Pencil inscriptions with markings to front endpaper and pastedown. Mild tanning with some foxing throughout. Occasional staining and markings. Text remains legible. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Minor loss to corners. Scuffing overall. Visible markings with slight staining to all surfaces. Labels to spine are slightly chipped and darkened. Small splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Seller Inventory # 1681470379BTB
