Book Description Hardcovers. Condition: Good. --------Complete set- --Soft red cloth with gilt spine lettering, thick books, 9" tall-- the set weighs about 14 pounds-- likely most suitable for domestic shipping only. . The volumes have 400+ pages but one volume has 600+ pages. End of volume 5 has long index for the set. Each book has illustrations and protective onion ship pages. Books have bookplate inside each front cover "This book is the property of the Wharncliffe Silkstone Club and Reading Room" which appears to be a classie club rather than a library- - -- - - VERY GOOD CONDITION, solid books, tight bindings, totally clean texts, only one hinge is very slightly less than perfect, very slightest signs of age covers and spines- - no dust jackets. Books are possibly never read-- we note some pages not totally opened on top edge. The spine on volume 1 is a bit less spiffy than the other books.
