1782. Fifth Edition Correc. 293 pages. Fully bound in brown leather. Volume I. Boards detached but present. Text block has split into multiple sections. Translated by T. Smollett. Includes several copper plates designed by Hayman. Pages are heavily tanned and foxed throughout. Binding is severely compromised with the book being suitable for re-binding. Gilt lettering is dulled. Detached boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and peeling to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Spine and joints completely split.
