The Tauchnitz editions of the classics enjoyed a strong market share in 19th century northern Europe. The swedish publisher Lindh comments in his book catalogue of 1854 that many of his editions are printed in larger type than some of those German 'stereotypa' editions. Lindh was looking for a marketing edge. The competition was not easy. This copy is printed on good quality paper and is remarkably well preserved. . Not listed in Engelmann.
