"The community of Q'ero is more isolated geographically and culturally than most indigenous Andean communities. best know for its textiles and ritual specialists (paqo). Textiles are the chief artistic expression, made from yarn and handspun from the hair of the community's alpacas llamas and woven on the indigenous style of staked-out loom" (author).
