Large square 8°., original wrappers, stiff paper dustjacket, nice design in black/white of association's initials "VRI" on front side of dustjacket. 91pp. of tri-lingual (dutch, english and french) introduction, index to designing artists and association's member-list (pp.1-10). Numerous black/white illustrations of advertising art and industrial design on pp.19-91, each section preceded by a 'table of contents', printed on limp paper in different colours, technical data to publication on [4]pp. with logos of companies involved loosely inserted, association's complimentary card also loosely inserted. The second annual review of a dutch association for graphic and industrial design VRI, established 1948 (first volume published 1955), tri-lingual text also supplies information on association's objectives in various points. Illustrations show recent design in Posters, advertisements, booklets/flyers, book and dustjacket design, illustrations/cartoons, magazines, occasional printed matter, letterheads/trade marks, packaging and industrial design, all with artists'names as captions.
