"Lady Gilstrap, the Authoress of these Poems, was born at Colne Bridge House, Huddersfield, on September 23rd, 1822, the fourth daughter of THOMAS HAIGH, Esq., and was married, June 2nd, 1847, to MR., now SIR, WILLIAM GILSTRAP, Bart., of Fornham Park, Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk, and of Newark-on-Trent, Notts.
