About this Item
Tall 8vo, hardcover, gilt cloth, 1 blank, (6), 116, 8. Text in Middle English, modernized in the footnotes. A rendition of the original text from Ms. Bodley 34, Oxford, and Cotton Ms. Titus D.18, British Museum. The previous entry in the Early English Text Society series did not take the former into account. A very good ex-library copy. Text block and binding are solid and well preserved. Ex-libris of the Public Ipswich Libraries at ffep, small "Ipswich Free Libraries" stamps at the back of half title, title page, and a few other pages. The back of the title page has also received the classic ex-library treatment (see pictures). Pages otherwise remarkably clean. Seller Inventory # 035235
