About this Item
*** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK POTAGE IS TWICE THE PRIORITY MAIL RATE BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT OF THESE BOOKS AND I NEED TO TRACK AND INSURE THEM. DO NOT BUY THIS SET IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY THE EXTRA SHIPPING WHEN I REQUEST IT BECAUSE I WILL REFUSE YOUR ORDER AND I WILL NOT TRADE WITH YOU AGAIN. *** This is a six volume UK hardcover set of this series published in 1822. The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading as Good. I can only post five photos so I have deliberately taken pictures that is typical of ALL six volumes - particularly the toning / foxing to the pages, The books ALL have a straight spine and sharp corners, but EACH has worn spine ends that are chipped or scuffed or have pieces missing. The text block of EACH book is tight and there is heavy toning to the page edges of ALL books. The end papers are marbled pattern but the title page of EACH book is heavily toned with impressions from the illustration opposite. The text throughout is clean on the whole but foxing is present in places, but only occasionally. A previous owner has neatly signed her name in each book, and dated 1827. The title page states place of publication London in 1822. A good, solid set overall. Seller Inventory # 015695

Store Description
All books in my store are my own and in my possession. I expect customers to read my listings fully and look at all photos and be aware of the terms. I will work with everyone to resolve issues but I expect the same courtesy back - if I don't reply to an email within 24 hours it means I haven't received it so you'll need to resend.
I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. Tracking is NOT provided automatically on UK parcels - you have to choose priority mail AND pay an additional £7 postage on top.
