By the author of The Railway Children and Five Children and It.decent clean firm interior mostly with no actual stains or usage marks but with light age foxing to prelims, heavier to first few pages of story and then here and there to page edges but no text obscured, contains a lovely colour f/p and 7 b&w plates, inscription to front e/paper, dulled/foxed to closed-edge of pages; cloth boards have an impressed picture to front which is still just visible, clear gilt lettering/title etc to spine area, front has patchy shelfwear as shown but clear to rear and all tightly-bound, light bumps/rubs to corners./.
