Early edition (1933) of this classic work (First published in 1865). Very Good OR BETTER volume. No jacket. Black cloth with a complete paste front - which is lightly rubbed overall. Spine title dulled. Rear book board overall lightly scratched/rubbed. Green illustrated end-papers. Front free end-paper has a child's bookplate and the page is lightly 'wrinkled' (does not detract). All eight color plates present and in excellent condition. Interior pages are clean and tight, no markings at all. A fabulous copy of this classic. Protected in a mylar slip.
