In Hungarian. 1934 first Hungarian edition, Dr. Marjay Frgyes kiadasa [Budapest, Hungary], 6 1/4 x 9 3/8 inches tall paperbound in boldly illustrated red covers, 243 pp. plus table of contents. Moderate to heavy soiling, rubbing, edgewear and creasing to covers. Moderate mostly marginal foxing throughout, with heavier foxing to title page and front and rear prelims. 1934 prior owner name in pencil to upper margin of title page. Nevertheless a serviceable, complete copy of this scarce translation - published, possibly clandestinely, by one of the translators - of the 1933 La Guerre revient. (published in English as Black Hand Over Europe), in which the author attempted to warn of the potential for conflict in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, between Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia. Henry Pozzi (1879 - 1946) was a French politician, diplomat and author who worked for the French and British secret services in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Pozzi was born in Bergerac. His mother was English. OCLC has no listing for this 1934 edition, only to a 2000 reissue by the Budapest publisher Puski (OCLC No. 909102337), which only shows one holding at institutions worldwide, in Szeged, Hungary. ~SP03~.
