About this Item
A Hungarian prayer book in a celluloid binding. Hungarian text, containing the required "imprimatur" and "nihil obstat." Measuring approx. 3 in. x 4.5 in. Bound in white celluloid with in-laid color illustration of Our Lady. The book was manufactured such that the front and rear panels and the spine are three separate but attached pieces. All edges gilt. Has a sewn-in ribbon place marker. The upper and lower spine ends show some chipping. The end-papers and some pages show age-related tanning. Loosely-laid in is a small prayer card with text in Hungarian followed by the words "Made in Czechoslovakia.". Seller Inventory # ABE-4292567463
