About this Item
8vo (24 cm), 222 pp. Cont. cloth with title tipped in front board. An offprint from "Theorien des Aufbaues der Materie. I. Abschnitt I und II. Hand- und Jahrbuch der Chemischen Physik". Dutch physicist Hendrik Anthony Kramers (1894-1952) presents research on the development of the quantum theory, particularly his work on the application of the wave-particle duality principle and the uncertainty principle. Kramers' work on the foundations of quantum theory was important in the development of quantum mechanics and helped to establish the probabilistic nature of quantum phenomena. In the book, he discusses the properties of particles, the nature of wave-particle duality, and the role of statistical mechanics in understanding these phenomena. He also introduces the concept of the uncertainty principle, which is a fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics. Seller Inventory # 008234
