"This 5.25 x 7.0 inch, 173 page hardcover book is the circa 1929 stated Anniversary Issue of this title by the Gregg Publishing Company. This copy is in very good condition with some corner wear to the maroon-cloth covers with black lettering and design on front panel and spine. The spine itself shows wear at the extremities and rubbing at the spine corners. The interior features endpaper shorthand charts for "Brief Form - Most Used Phrases." There is a previous owner's inked name on the ffep and the text pages show modest corner wear but overall this copy is in very good condition with no markings in the text. This copy features a preface by John Robert Gregg and then a five-page "About Gregg Shorthand" which covers the history of writing style which was first published in 1888, as well as indicating that the Gregg shorthand technique won the world championship six times. The text proceeds into units instructing students in technique and practice. There are three pages of ads at the rear. 173 pages.". Seller Inventory # 1505-1009
