This 6.625 x 9.25 inch, 62 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the apparent First Edition - third printing of this title in 1960. This book is in at least good condition with a good dust wrapper. The book covers show wear at the corners, edges, and at the spine foot and crown but the wear is not extensive. The orange paper covers are still glossy but do show some curious small indentations along the top edge. The interior pages are at least very good with no markings, folding, or damage showing. The front pastedown shows a previous owners inked name. The dust wrapper with this book is all important as it is the real indicator of printing ? with this wrapper showing the ?50 word vocabulary? notation on the front panel as part of the panel itself and not an applied sticker. The front flap shows the 195/195 price and the bottom panel shows 19 titles under the ?Books for Beginners? listing ? with The Little Black - a Pony . . . as the last title . . . and with ? Beginner?s Books - a Division of Random House ? at the bottom of the back panel. This wrapper shows considerable wear with one two-inch closed tear at a fold ? and with a number of other small tears and chips but the wrapper is solidly in one piece and in at least good condition. 62 pages.
