Great Castles and Cathedrals of Europe--239 Photographs Collection of primarily albumen photos with an estimated 75% unmounted. Sizes range from 4 x 6 inch to 8 x 10 inch, with most on the larger spectrum. As with any gathering of this size, condition will vary but overall, most are very good to fine. Several mounted images show light institution stamp to front. Most either are identified on the negative or annotated on verso. Photos generally show strong contrast and decent exposure. Several faded. Some photographers are identified. All photos sleeved. Multiple small photos in single sleeves. Huge collection of the great cathedrals, castles and building of Europe. Countries represented include Italy, Germany, France, and England. Several scenic views included. Take a virtual trip to Wien, Innsbruck, Perugia, Pratto, Rome, Paris and York to name a few locales.
