Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, 5 gilt band separating 6 gilt decorated compartments, outer tips are also gilt albeit worn. Joints good condition rubbed and worn. Corners good condition gently bumped. Boards good condition full vellum boards with gilt borders, gilt crest to the front board, board are slightly turning out, rubbed and worn. Page edges good condition top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges tanned and foxed. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition marbled with gilt dentelles. End papers good condition marbled, the bookbinders name is printed along the top edge on the reverse of the front end paper, there is a signature of a previous owner on one of the front free end papers, internal free end papers are tanned and foxed. Title good condition illustrated with a youth playing a pipe, lightly tanned with some foxing. Pages good condition lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Binding good condition.
