About this Item
** RARE BOOK, 1907 ** STURDY CLOTH-BOUND HARDCOVER ** IN PICTORIAL BOARDS ** FORMER LIBRARY BOOK ** CLEAN AND STAIN-FREE ** TEXT UNMARKED ** COMPLETE AND INTACT ** ILLUSTRATED ** Published by Benziger Brothers, 1907, with 519 pages, and also with a number of full-page illustration plates not included in the page count. NOTE: The photos you can access with this listing are of the actual book you will be sent; please examine them closely as they provide the best indication of condition. A thick, heavy book that has virtually disappeared from circulation today, very hard to find. NOTE: EX-LIBRARY BOOK, please expect library markings and indicia. However, aside from the library markings, the book has no major flaws, shows only brief, occasional, quite minor signs of use or age (a touch of wear to the cloth at the spine ends, faint age-toning to the pages, over-opened at page 176 causing some separation in the gutter). Well-made book, bound in heavy-duty pictorial cloth-covered boards. The book is exceptionally clean and stain-free, square and straight, still firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, or missing. The corner tips are all sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain-free, and all text and illustrations remain crisp and legible. We detected no writing, underlining, highlighting or other such markings in the text of the book.
