[248 x 185 x 10 mm]. 43, [1] pp. Bound in the original grey wrappers, with the title embossed in white on the front and the company's details in red on a white strip. A lavish and rather beautiful production, in fine condition. As the Introduction begins: "Why not make a new approach to the problem of interior decoration? Imagine, for example, the exquisite effect of the walls and ceiling of a foyer furnished in the modern style, embellished with lovely examples of decorative glass panels". The London Sand Blast Decorative Glass Works Ltd would definitely be the company. Examples of their work could be seen in hotels, restaurants, theatres and institutions throughout the smarter parts of London, including Claridges, The Ritz, Savoy, Dorchester, Café Royal, Simpson's, Lyric Theatre, Odeon Cinema at Leicester Square (and Cairo) and The Royal Institute of British Architects, and in liners, including Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary. The photographic plates include examples of the works of John Hutton, Noel Villeneuve, Suddaby & Fryer, Jan Juta, O.P. Milne, J.C. Whipp, Margot Craig, Jacob Drew, Juliet O'Rorke and John Buckland Wright. Seller Inventory # ebc3455
