(And who's to say what dire fate would have awaited that manly island nation, had these brave maidens NOT been on their guard?) A very good copy in a good-plus jacket with some spider-webbing to lower right of front panel (from a closed tear) and some moderate soiling to the mostly-white rear panel. Furthermore, the jacket spine is NOT sun-faded! Student presentation bookplate to FFE dated 1933. Book itself not dated by publisher; our 1931 publication date is an estimate.
