About this Item

Size of color print: 9 1/8" x 9 3/4", size of gray-surfaced, beveled, paper/card mounting sheet: 10" x 12". A color, photo-mechanically reproduced image of a seated, sleeping girl holding a doll, with printed-fabric covered chair, etc. Mounted by being pasted down to the surface of the sheet of card; print might have been trimmed down slightly. This might also have been part of a series of color prints featuring images of girls & their dolls, produced in the 1930's, some were of child actresses, such as Shirley Temple, but we do not recognize the model here. Print is clean & undamaged; gray card shows slight wear to the corners. Scan shows the entire image & part of the mounting card. Provenance: from the picture file of Pittsburgh art dealer, Charles A.
