Leather of top tip of rear board is heavily scuffed. Boards have light scratches. Rear board has a heavy scratch. Edges of text block are scratched. 1-1/2" detachment of front board at the spine heel. Spine edges are lightly rubbed. Old bookstore stamp inside front board. Volume II: Five raised spine bands are rubbed. Tips and spine head are rubbed. Spine heel is missing a 1" x 1/2" portion of the leather, remaining leather has a 1" tear. Spine heel is heavily chipped. Edges are rubbed. Boards have light scratches. Edges of text block have scratches. Two rear endpapers have a 1-1/2" tear at the top edge. Spine edges are rubbed.
