Three volumes. In German. Auf Deutsch. Full cloth bindings in red pebbled cloth. Gilt lettering and elaborate decorations on front covers and spines are fairly bright. Top page edges quite soiled. Interior page edges turning yellow/brown. Some foxing inside covers. Illustrated with engravings (almost all of them dealing with war and/or fighting). Vol. 1 published in 1873. 478 pages. Vol. 2 published in 1875. 478 pages. Incipient separation of pastedown and spine inside rear cover, so far not too serious. Vol. 3 published in 1877. 504 pages. Horizontal tear at top of spine. Interiors unmarked. The bindings are tight and square. Because of the weight of these three volumes, additional shipping costs will be required for mailing, even to a U.S. address.
