26 x 20 cm.232 pages.very special Limited Edition.Number 260 of 1244 Edition presented by the City of Geneva to The Consul General of Nicaragua on the 11th of May 1953 by the President of the Administrative Council of Geneva. Obviously books similar to this were presented to Diplomats on their arrival in Geneva. There are several versions of this presentation/gift. This version contains two 'books' Geneve 'La Mission Pacificatrice D'Une Cite Libre' by Charles Fournet. and 'Geneve: Vue par ses Hotes' Both titles are profusely illustrated with in text b/w drawings and tipped in photographs some in colour. The book has a green cloth weaved cover with gold impressed city emblem and title . A really impressive item unread and unmarked.close to pristine. Seller Inventory # ABE-12750261976
