Additional cover title "La Fiesta de Los Angeles." Large 4to. (35 cm.) 48p. Profusely (!) illustrated with black and white captioned photos and numerous period ads. Stapled booklet in color pictorial wrappers with an image of two children standing in front of the City Hall of Los Angeles holding the California flag with a background image of a man on horseback. Just touches of wear to the extremities, wrappers ever so lightly soiled, some rust on the staples, previous owner paper sticker on the front wrapper [Irvn Seamon], wrappers just barely starting to come loose from the staples, corners square and flat, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. There are 75 thumbnail photos entitled "Men of Los Angeles of Today", including the Mayor, John C. Porter; the Los Angeles County Sheriff, William L. Traeger; the President of the City Council, Charles H. Randall; the Chief of the Los Angles Police, R.E. Steckel; and the like. In the article entitled ?The Order of Native Sons by Clarence M. Hunt, there are 28 black and white thumbnail photos of the Native Sons. In another article entitled "Order of Native Daughters", there are 22 black and white thumbnail photos of the Native Daughters. Other articles in this issue include the following: "The Queen of the Angels" by Owen C. Lobner. The Grizzly Bear Magazine was the official organ and the only official publication of the Native Sons and the Native Daughters of the Golden West.
