A former French Army officer investigates the disappearance of a neighbor's daughter, which has destroyed her family. Undated, published in the U.S. in 1954. Translated from the French "Le Jet d'Eau" by Peter Green. Lightly bumped and rubbed with a touch of sunning at the spine ends. Jacket rubbed with small chips and tears, black residue to the upper and lower edges of the rear panel, presumably from an old edged protector. Price intact, in new Brodart. Seller Inventory # 231015
