In good to very good condition without dust jacket. Pictorial boards darkened to spine. Rubbed to top and bottom of spine and corners, and colours rubbed to front board slightly. Prize book plate to front paste down dated 1918. Small tear to fore edge of front end paper. Some occasional marks and age spots to the pages but very largely clear. This is the first 'School' book written by Angela Brazil and the only one, I believe, to be written in the first person. First published in 1907 this edition is believed to have been published in, or shortly before, 1918. Contains three black and white illustrations by Arthur H Buckland. Seller Inventory # 003503
