About this Item
This VG- quality book was published in 1932 by the Grosset & Dunlap and is 7-5/8" tall with 242 numbered pages of text. This book--one-piece medium green binding with black lettering and illustration--is square, very clean and not faded, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head of the spine is very lightly bumped, with no damage; unfortunately, the bottom 1/4 inch of the spine is missing (see photo); the bottom edges have a virtually no wear. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and undamaged. The text paper is very slightly and uniformly toned, and very flexible. The frontis plus three, on plain paper, are present and intact. There is no list in the book for this series: the list on the rear flap of the jacket lists the first seven titles of this series. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. The VG- quality jacket is moderately soiled, with tiny chips at the front corners and slight wear and color loss at the head of the spine; the heel of the spine has a medium sized chip that barely damages the publisher's name.
