Flower Fairies of the Wayside. Written and illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker. Published by Blackie and Sons. Undated but probably 1950's. Size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. A hardcover book with grey-brown boards, black tiles and a paste down image of The White Bindweed Fairy on the front. The jacket is pale yellow and is decorated with an image of The Chicory Fairy. Condition of book: Very good. The boards are very clean and the image on the front absolutely unmarked. The corners, and top and bottom of the spine, are a little bumped and worn. The pages are clean and un-thumbed. The end block is very faintly foxed. Condition of wrapper: Very Good. It is complete - just a little general wear along the top and bottom edges, corners, and top and bottom of the spine. There is one closed tear, about 1/4 inch long on the front. Clear tape has been used to secure the base of the spine and one corner. It is not price-clipped. Seller Inventory # 000887
